Spry’s “Bred for Carcase” Tamworth Bull Sale- 11th August 2010 Preview
The Spry family will offer approximately 45 Shorthorn and 5 Charolais cross Shorthorn bulls at their 5th on property “Bred for Carcase” Bull sale, Wednesday 11th August at “Hillcrest” Tamworth at 1:00pm.
Features such as Meat quality, feed efficiency, low maintenance, good weight for age and adaptable cattle has been the primary focus of the breeding program whilst still maintaining traits that the Beef Industry aims to achieve and Spry’s are committed to producing. Fleshing ability, fertility, muscularity, moderate framed, good temperament and overall soundness are all essential traits that continue to be a pivotal focus within the Spry’s breeding program. With bulls selling to all states and areas of Australia, from a 10-60 inch rainfall, Spry bred cattle are equipped to handle a range of diverse environments. We believe the 50 Shorthorn and Shorthorn cross Charolais bulls catalogued for the sale are indicative of these traits!
Included in the offering is 2 bulls bred by guest vendor Tagundi Shorthorns and several bulls with stud sire potential.
All bulls will carry the Pfizer star accreditation- a quality assurance program to protect bulls against reproductive diseases such as pestivirus, Leptospirosis and Vibriosis. Sale Bulls will also carry a full veterinary inspection (for reproductive soundness, structure and feet).
